Family, friends, brothers and sisters,
Hello! As I am writing this, I still cannot believe just how crazy it is that I am going to Africa in January 2022! Our God does amazing things and never ceases to amaze me every. single. day. I pray that whoever you are, whether family or friend, or someone who just happened to randomly stumble upon this page, that God would move in your life and you would follow Him with your entire life, because He is worth following. With that being said, here is a little about me:
– I am from Celina TX, and go to school at Dallas Baptist University
– I am a Biblical Studies major pursuing a call to Pastoral Ministry
– I love studying theology and philosophy(Jonathan Edwards and Bonhoeffer are my favorite)
– I am very big into rock climbing
– I love to play music(sax, guitar, piano)
– Currently a Youth Pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church
– I have felt a call towards missions for a very long time
– Waking up at 5am to study God’s Word is my favorite thing
– I could sit around a campfire and talk literally forever
– If you ask me for directions you will not get where you are going because I never know where I am or how to get anywhere
– If I’m not studying the Word or discipling others, I am probably either playing/listening to music or hiking/rock climbing
That just about sums up me! I hope that you were able to get a better understanding of who I am and got to know me better through reading about me. I will continue to post leading up to and during the trip as God works in my life each and every day. I am so excited for this season of life that I am entering, and I pray that whatever season you are in is filled with Christ.
