Dear family, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ,
I have the coolest news to share! Instead of going to the spring semester of college next year, I have decided to step out in faith and go on the World Race: Semesters trip to Africa!
The Semesters program is through Adventures in Missions, an interdenominational nonprofit missions organization that focuses on discipleship, prayer, and the relationship between God and his people. Established in 1989, it has brought over 100,000 people to the mission field. I am so honored to have been accepted into this program in order to bring the Word of the Lord and His love all around the World!
In January 2022, I will be leaving to travel to South Africa, eSwatini, and Lesotho. I will live in each country for one month, spreading the good news and love of Jesus Christ. Although each country, month, week, and even day will look different, some of the things the team will be doing includes: ministering to children who are living on the streets, community outreach, youth ministry, provide food and clean water for children in eSwatini where 40% of the population lives on less than $1.25 a day, education, provision of shelter, evangelism, discipleship, and teaching English. The Lord is definitely at work in this! I genuinely feel that the Lord has called me to spend this time on mission serving Him in radical ways, and I think this will be that perfect opportunity. I have SUCH a heart for missions, and getting to partake in this would fulfill so many dreams of mine, as well as the Great Commission.
Coolest part? YOU have an opportunity to help me get there!! There are two easy ways to become a part of this journey.
Prayer:
-
For me and my team, that we would delight in our new community together, and grow together in the name of the Lord. Pray that each of our gifts be used to bring Him glory.
-
For the people we will encounter. That we can use our stories to make connections and form awesome, lasting relationships, and hopefully point towards Jesus!
-
Over the number $6,750. That is the amount I need in order to partake in this, and the last thing I would want to get in the way would be money!
Financial support:
I am asked to raise $6,750. That being said, please pray about partnering with me and financially supporting me through this trip. Any amount is genuinely helpful! My fundraising goal includes the costs of training, travel, lodging, food, and other necessities while abroad. I know that the God who called me to this is faithful to provide. While you may not be traveling to a distant country, you are still serving God just as much as I am by enabling me to walk out my call and be the hands and feet of Jesus. By supporting this mission, you are a part of God’s Kingdom work!
There are two ways you can financially donate:
-
Via my blog (http://cameronwhite.theworldrace.org). Not only does this act as a place for donations, but I will also be posting regularly about my journey and how God is moving in my life — subscribe if you want to stay updated!

By check. Please make all checks payable to Adventures in Missions. I have enclosed a fundraising card that must be filled out and sent with your check to the address listed on the card.
